With Shore Starter Sites, most of the work on our end is already done! We can have your website launched in as little as a week. Sites are started in the order that orders are received, and rely on you to provide necessary information before we make the site live.

That said, in general, Sites will be online within a month, whether you provide specific content or not. As long as we have your basic business information, we can and will build a custom site for you and publish it to your new domain. (The exception is if you have your own domain but neglect to provide us login details — so please be sure to get them to us asap!)

To keep this package as convenient as possible, our revision process is simplified.

We know you're busy. So are we. We want to be respectful of your time and our own with these clear, up front expectations.

Therefore:

If we have what we need to launch a complete and accurate website by the one month mark, we will launch even if we haven't heard from you. Beyond that, we reserve the right to leave your site incomplete while waiting on critical items from you.

How this works:

After we get a basic version of your site together, we'll send it to you for review.

You receive one round of revisions, to point out images and copy that does not work for your brand.

If you don’t respond with your revisions within a week, we’ll assume we have your approval. (The faster you reply to us, the sooner we can launch your Site!)

You also have the option to submit custom content for your business information, such as a professional bio or description of services.

Again, if you don’t respond to us about your custom content within a week receiving the site for review, we’ll assume that you approve of the site "as is".

And if a month has gone by since you ordered a Site and you haven't submitted any edits, we'll go live with what we have — unless you registered your own domain and haven't sent us the login. We literally can't launch your site without that login. (We know you'll be great about getting that information to us!)

We will provide you with a hidden page on your website that only you will know about. No login required, no placement on your website menu, and hidden from Google.

This page will include a form that you can use to update all pertinent information. Changed your shop hours? Enter them on the form and Voilà! They'll be updated in every place they occur on your website, instantly.

We'll confirm with you all of items that need to be on this form in advance, and can add to it/update it as needed.

We do our best to keep it simple:

You own any content that you contribute, including images, logos and other graphics, and text (written copy).

If you bring us your previously registered domain name to use, that is yours as well.

If we registered your domain, technically we own that registration, and fully maintain it on your behalf.

That said, if you leave us, we will pass ownership of your domain to you — well... as long as your bill is paid.

(Our pricing is so fair, we've never had a reason to keep anyone's domain.)

Technically, Webbed Presence owns everything else.

Technically, we do. We purchase it, set it up, and maintain your domain records on your behalf.

Your domain will remain on our system through the length of your subscription, which is renewed annually.

At the end of that term, we will enable transfers on the domain, if available.

Ownership of your email account ultimately depends on who is paying the platform that hosts it.

In most cases, we include email setup and management as part of our annual billing plan to keep things as simple as possible for you. Technically, that means the account is under our billing and management—so we can maintain it for you.

If you're a commercial client using Google Workspace, you'll have the option to either:

- Pay Shore Starter Sites (for convenience and centralized billing), or

- Pay Google directly (retaining full administrative control from day one).

Regardless of billing setup, we only access your account for technical maintenance or support. In rare cases, we may log in to ensure compliance with our terms of service—such as preventing spam or illegal activity.

Yes! Hosting includes ongoing support and maintenance services to ensure your website remains updated and functions smoothly over time.

Need a more complicated update to your website completed? We offer discounted pricing to Shore Starter Sites clients, and charge by the minute (minimum 15 minutes).

All Shore Starter Sites come with built-in SEO:
- Basic front and back end SEO on every page (the technical stuff)
- Social sharing images and text for every page of content
- Local Schema included (Very technical and often overlooked)
- If you use Google Analytics (or want to), we can integrate it!

Generally speaking, this creates no issue. Shore Starter Sites are for businesses and organizations that don't currently plan to run targeted marketing campaigns to and though their website. We'll be sure that there's a difference in the look and feel of your site, especially if there's another Shore Starter Site in the same regional market.

At Webbed Presence, all of the sites we host are on the Webbed Presence PRO (WPPro) platform, which is built on HighLevel.

We accept all major US credit cards, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Cash App Pay, and Google Pay. We also take checks and ACH by special arrangement.

You can request a project cancellation and partial refund within 48 hours of purchase (regardless of the day of the week), less a $150 cancellation fee. We start work on Shore Starter Sites quickly and need to keep our queue clear and organized.

After your site is launched, you can cancel before the next annual renewal. Your site will remain online through the end your yearly subscription period (although you can request we take it down sooner.) If you choose not to renew, your site will come down after your renewal date has passed. We can not prorate annual subscriptions at this low, low rate.

The Eastern Shore of Maryland is located on the East Coast's Delmarva Peninsula, located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay.

The name "Delmarva" comes from the three states claiming sections of the peninsula: Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.

To the north, just off the top of the peninsula, lies Philadelphia. Our neighbor New Jersey is separated from us by an 85 minute ferry ride across the Delaware Bay.

In the gorgeous expanse between these metropolitan areas lies miles of countryside known for corn, soy and broiler chickens. Maryland's state food — the blue crab — loves the brackish waters of both Bays and the inland waterways in between.

The pace of life is less hurried than across the bridges, with a greater emphasis on neighborliness and community. Our towns live and breathe by the change of seasons, fresh produce at our many roadside farm stands, small annual fairs and large festivals — check out the internationally known Waterfowl Festival in Easton MD — and the rhythm of the traffic headed between the cities and the beach.
